Galapagos

GALAPAGOS

The Galapagos Marine Reserve lies in the middle of Pacific currents, bringing pelagic species found nowhere else in the world. This trip is only for the experienced diver as there are strong currents--which is what attracts the big animals. Snorkel with marine iguanas and penguins and dive with whale sharks, silky sharks, turtles and manta rays. On our last trip, we observed Galapagos sharks hunting a Morey eel, and schooling hammerheads blocked our view of a 45 foot whale shark!

Finstads' experience in this region assures that your diving is concentrated in the best sites, including the islands of Wolf and Darwin-- shark mecca of the world. We plan the trip during the best time of year to see whale sharks and hammerheads. On our past two excursions to the Galapagos, we swam with whale sharks every day.  The wildlife of the Galapagos Islands is truly thrilling, 14 foot mantas and 50 foot whale sharks will forever live in your memory.  View photos of the last trip here.

At the end of an adrenaline-filled day enjoy a relaxing volcano-studded sunset while the crew pours your favorite drink.  Spread out on the sun deck or in the lounge of the Estrella del Mar and rest up for another adrenaline filled day of diving. Every state-room in the yacht has a window and a bathroom.
